spring shopping for a bag lady

With the weather slowly warming up here in Vancity, it's time to peruse on-line shopping sites for some new additions to my bag collection. So far, colourful purses, especially in shades of aqua, turquoise and sea-foam green have really caught my eye. So much better than your basic black option, it's a great accessory to invest in and still be on trend with the season's colours. Pinks, canary yellows and juicy orange hues are great spring colours while bright greens, papaya, coral and turquoise are great summery colours are a wonderful addition to any outfit. Also, who doesn't like a little bit of obnoxious neon in their accessories?

From Net-a-porter.com:

MJ by Marc Jacobs Natasha Petal to the Metal shoulder bag is in a great punchy pink colour.
Burberry Prorsum raffia-effect and leather wristlet in turquoise. Love the detailing on this clutch.

Proenza Schouler PS1 large leather satchel in papaya. This is a fabulous spring colour but could also work all year round when you want some colour to brighten up a drab all-black outfit.

Reed Krakoff mini Atlantique leather tote. This designer has just recently caught my eye, and I like what I'm seeing so far.

From shop bop.com:

Alexander Wang Donna bag in acqua is a great casual bag.
The Cambridge Fluoro Satchel in green. LOVE it!

Rebecca Minkoff mini Mac bag in highlighter yellow. Something this small can still pack a punch in such a bright, in-your-face colour.
